Description
False Indigo is a long-lived native perennial valued for its tall spikes of blue pea-like flowers in late spring. The attractive blue-green foliage forms a shrub-like clump that adds structure to garden beds. Once established, Baptisia develops a deep root system that makes it very drought tolerant and low maintenance. It is an excellent choice for sunny native plant and pollinator gardens.
